The Tome school for Boys (which was later turned used as United States Naval Training Center) can be found off of Bainbridge Road, Port Deposit, Maryland. The Tome School for Boys now lies abandoned but originally began in 1894 and was founded by Jacob Tome. It was a nonsectarian college preparatory.
3/22/2016 · Since then, it has been used for the Naval Academy Preparatory School, Susquehanna Job Corps Center, but now stands abandoned. You can find the newer Tome School in North East, MD. The Port Deposit location while once glistening and full of life, is now weathered and crumbling. Several buildings remain full of trash, broken glass, and graffiti.
