The purpose of the Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson (TACA) is to foster relationships between public and private fire investigators, provide continuing education to our members, and support arson prevention/prosecution through the state’s Arson Hotline. TACA reviews tips and information called into the Hotline for possible cash awards.
The Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson is led by a Board of Directors consisting of nine officers and twelve Directors. The Officer roles include President, President-Elect, Past President, a Vice President from each of the three Grand Divisions of the State (East, Middle, West), the Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian.

Awards up to $5,000 may be paid for pertinent information which leads to the identification of any person committing or procuring arson as defined under the statutes of the State of Tennessee to residential property, commercial property, public buildings, automobiles, personal property, farms and wild lands.
